So I am a sucker for a black bodysuit. This one from Fashion Nova is a must have! You can pair it with literally anything . For this particular look, I paired it with a snake print mini skirt. As the weather is transitioning, I love a combination of long sleeves with a skirt! It’s a great outfit to transition into the colder months.

Other things you could pair this bodysuit with are, black jeans, boyfriend jeans, leather leggings, etc. It really does work well with anything.

OUTFIT DETAILS

Bikini : Teeny B Bikinis

If you have ever seen my instagram (My Instagram) then you know its no secret I have a love for bikinis! So of course, my first post back, is going to be about one!

This mermaid Teeny B Bikini is one of my all time favorites! The silver with nude color is so pretty, pictures don’t do it justice, and the fit is incredible. One thing I love about Teeny B is they look great on any body style. I have never put on one of their bikinis and not loved the fit!

I do recommend sizing up in the bottoms if you feel uncomfortable with a small fit. There is truth in the “teeny”, but they also offer more coverage if thats what you are looking for. Personally, I’m ok with the teeny fit!

So grab this bikini and head out for the spring/summer seasons! I don’t pack for a trip and not have at least 2 Teeny Bikinis in my bag!

Dress: Nightcap Clothing Bag : Fendi Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Jewelry: Gorjana

Ive been so busy working lately, I have barely had time to blog! I knew my first post back needed to be something “To Dye For” and when I came across the Gorjana Palisades collection, I immediately fell in love. There is a place in my heart for gold and turquoise! This collection puts together the right pop of color for any outfit! My ring is the Palisades Statement Turquoise ring and my earrings are the Palisades Drop Hoops! (They also come in colors such as labradorite, black onyx, and rhodonite!)  Gorjana has become a staple brand for me. I love their look, and the quality of their pieces!

My dress is Nightcap Clothing. When I walked into Tootsies in Dallas, TX and saw this dress, I knew it was for me. The material is extremely soft, and fits the body like a glove. This is a great spring/summer dress. The sleeves can keep you warm on a chillier day, but also the perforated material can keep you cool on a warmer day. Its really a top buy! I can’t wait to continue to wear this throughout the seasons.

What I love about a white dress is you can do up your accessories! This Fendi runway bag adds a fun look to the outfit, mixed with lace up booties and Gorjana turquoise pieces, its a killer combo! I think adding a little pattern and color to a white or black dress is always a good idea.

I am so excited to get into the spring season and share more looks, travel, and food with you soon!

Resort: Four Seasons Bora Bora Pink Swimsuit: Teeny B Black Swimsuit: Beach Bunny Swimwear

Everyone is asking about my recent trip to Bora Bora!!

When you board your boat from the Bora Bora airport to head out to your hotel destination, you’re immediately taken back by the crystal blue water, and the beautiful mountain scenery. I knew Bora Bora was somewhere I always have wanted to go, but I didn’t realize it would be the trip of a lifetime.

I had the pleasure of staying at the wonderful Four Seasons Bora Bora, in an over the water bungalow. I wouldn’t want to do it any other way. The size of the bungalow is spacious, with a wonderful balcony area that allows you to jump right into the ocean. You have the option for a doors open experience, that allows you to be in the open air at all times, or you can close everything and still look out of the windows. Being that I went during a summer month, I kept everything closed but still enjoyed the beautiful view.
I was lucky enough to stay in Bora Bora for 5 days, and I made the best of my trip!
Day one was spent with a large group of friends by the beautiful pool! We got in from a long day and a half of travel, so the pool was the obvious choice. Drinks and food were served poolside by a staff that knew us all by name. You can see the ocean from the pool, and you are close enough to walk right up to it if you prefer a beach vibe. Its a wonderful place to catch the sunset! We ended the night at dinner at the poolside grill, with live music! Mahi mahi and coconut rice are a must!
Day two, our group took a catamaran to a private island for a group lunch, and private bar! This was probably one of our most fun days. With club music playing, drinks flowing, beautiful scenery, and a great group of friends, it was definitely a blast.
Day three, I hit the spa! THIS SPA WAS TO DYE FOR! I had the Gold Ritual Treatment. It started off with an exfoliating treatment in a private bungalow, right on top of the water. My treatment table looked down at a glass floor where I could see the fish swimming below. After my scrub, I had the polynesian massage, that was done with an oil that had 24k flakes running through it. The massage combines using their arms and elbows for a deeper treatment. To end it, I was given a 24k gold mask that I wore for the last 30 mins of my massage. Such a great combination. I was extremely pleased with my experience, and day at the spa. My treatment time totaled 120 minutes. Once you are done you can stay in the spa facility and enjoy the outdoor hot tub, or their shower facilities. That night we had a group dinner at the sushi restaurant at the resort. Talk about fresh sushi! The rainbow roll was a great combo of tuna, salmon, and scallop, and you can’t go wrong with traditional nigiri. Such a treat.
Day four, I spent the morning drinking coffee with one of my closest friends. We sat on the balcony just enjoying the scenery and chatting. That afternoon we went and hit up the jet ski excursion! We circled the entire island , with a stop in the middle for fresh fruit and pictures! After we got back, we hit the pool! Usually you can find everyone hanging there, and dinner plans are made! We ended up at the poolside grill again that night. The live music, Green T cocktail, and the Mahi Mahi are just unbeatable.
Day five was my last day! Because the travel time to Bora Bora is so long, I really only had until the afternoon to enjoy the day before heading back to Tahiti to begin traveling home. I spent that morning at breakfast with my besties (of course), and then laid by the pool until it was time to leave! If you haven’t noticed, the pool is the place to be.
There are so many wonderful details, and things that happened on this trip that if I included them all this post would be about 5 pages long, so Im giving you the shorter day by day version. I have been asked quite a bit what this trip was like, how the trip was going, if it was as amazing as it seemed, and I wanted to share my experience with you guys! There is snorkeling, paddle boarding, swimming with the sharks, private lagoons, private yoga, personal training, and so much more. I was extremely blessed to get to not only go and experience this beautiful place, but also to have been able to do it with such a wonderful group of people!
I HIGHLY recommend Bora Bora and the Four Seasons! It truly was to Dye for!

OUTFIT DETAILS

Top: For Love and Lemons Bodysuit Jeans: Rag & Bone (similar) Rings: Gorjana Earrings: Gorjana Shoes: Valentino Rockstud Purse: Chanel

So let me start by saying this outfit is SO ME! I am all about a bodysuit, destroyed baggy denim, and great jewelry!

This bodysuit is made by For Love and Lemons, and I get so many compliments on it. I love the white ruffle classic look, with a sexy twist of lace! I do recommend a white lace bra or tank under it to keep things covered!

My jeans I have on are Rag & Bone, probably one of my all time favorite denim brands. They always fit exactly how they are supposed to. This particular pair is no longer for sale. I did however attach a killer pair, from a different brand, that is similar and a better price range! If you are looking to splurge on denim, I highly recommend Rag & Bone! I love this pair in particular because its a very loose fit, and they are very destroyed. You really can match them with so many great tops, and they will definitely casual out your look.

My gems in this post are 100% Gorjana and I couldn’t be more obsessed with a brand! I actually built this post off of these pieces. My rings are the Amara set, they are very light weight and stackable, which I love. Gorjana is doing a ton of stackable pieces! So live love layer! My earrings I chose are the Tulum Gemstone Tassel Earrings. I am loving this tassel trend that is going on right now, and these are the perfect pair. They come in multiple colors so you can match them with any outfit! They’re subtle but they also add some pop to your look!

For shoes, I chose the Valentino Rockstud pumps. This pair I have had for a little bit, but they do make them in multiple colors, and materials! A great and comfortable shoe choice. To be honest, I am not great on heels, but these I can manage.

My bag is one of my favorite little Chanels. It is still in circulation, so you can probably find it through a Chanel boutique.

I love being able to share some of my favorite pieces with you and why I chose them! This is something I would wear to a basketball game, a night out, or even just to a casual dinner!

OUTFIT DETAILS

Bodysuit: Privacy Please Jean Jacket: Blank NYC Tee: LNA Jeans: J Brand Sweater (similar): Callahan Bra Cami: For Love and Lemons

I get asked often “How do I pick what I am going to wear for a portfolio shoot?”. When picking outfits for a shoot, I usually try to do something different than what I did the last time I shot. I look for things that are simple and classic, but still show off my best features. You want the outfits and pictures to me memorable, and show your personality, but you don’t want to overwhelm the photos. Bodysuits, denim, tees, oversized sweaters, sneakers, etc. are all great things to go to when planning looks for your shoot. Simple is perfect! These photos are from a shoot I did to update my book!

The velvet fits like a glove, and the color was great for the holiday vibe. My earrings are my new favorite, purchased from a store in Germantown, TN called Indigo (yes they ship). I have been wearing them quite a bit because they add so much to an outfit. My booties I have had for several years. They are Brian Atwood, platform booties, covered in feathers (swoon). This outfit is perfect for any parties, or events this season!
